Akshay is the founder of doorstep.uk which is an online marketing agency that has just started and in a year has valued 12 pounds. He was a guy who had to manage his school and business works where he sells out properties just for a fraction of cost than the other bigger firms charge. He hired a call centre organization in order to receive call from his clients during his school hours, and would return to the call centre once his classes were over. He had also borrowed enough money from his relatives in order to start a website of his own. He successfully started his own website with 7000 pounds.

Within 16 months of his website going live, doorstep.uk turned out to be the 18th biggest real estate agency in the United Kingdom. And within three months of time he was successfully able to sell properties that were worth of 100 million pounds.

Akshay during an interview mentions that his first client was a man from Sussex, who asked him to sell his house along with a piece of land as he had to help his sister’s boyfriend to drive him up there as he did not even have a driving licence. He then successfully sold the properties within just three months of time.

He now employs around 12 people in order to run his business. His model of selling a specific property is just simplistic, that banks on over expanding the network of all the mothers who show the clients houses that are up for sale. He also believes that the mothers are really going to be honest enough and tell the truth to the ones whom they are showing the property too, as this is something that is very important in the real estate industry.

With all the success that he has gained and his business doing really well, Akshay Ruparelia has increased his own allowances and has brought a car for his parents making them feel really proud at this very young age.

The oxford university has now offered him a scholarship in order to study economics and mathematics, due to which he has put a hold on his business that he is doing really well and wishes to take it forward once he completes his studies.
