The third part of Race series is on the cards and if we go by the reports coming in, this time the makers are firmly determined to take the third part a level higher than the earlier two movies, in all the segments.
First of all, they brought superstar Salman Khan on board which will definitely increase the brand value of Race franchisee and it also increases the chances of success of the movie. Jacqueline Fernandez will be in the female lead but the director of the movie will be Remo D’Souza and not Abbas-Mastan duo.
There was also news that Sidharth Malhotra refused to work in the movie and then it was said that the role was given to Bobby Deol. The movie will also star Daisy Shah and it is set to release on Eid in 2018.
Now the latest buzz is that the actor Anil Kapoor can also be a part of the star cast of the third part of Race, not to forget that he was in the earlier two movies as well.
A source told DNA, “Anil had played Robert D’Costa aka RD, a private detective, who acts stupid but is very sharp, resourceful and quick. Anil’s character was liked immensely by the audience. The first movie had Sameera Reddy playing his assistant, while the second film saw Ameesha Patel in the role.”
We hope that the plan of including Anil Kapoor in the star cast materialises and we get to see Salman and Anil together after almost a decade as they worked together last time in Yuvraaj in 2008. A source said, “If Anil comes on board, he will be the only cast member to be a part of all three films of the Race series. Also, this will be the actor’s first film with choreographer-turned-director Remo.”
